3M S.r.l. is a company working in the sector of light alloy aluminium die casting, with technologies of die and mould casting; in the moulds design for die casting use; in the construction of automatic machines with electronic processes able in finishing operations, machining and seal control. The main customers of the society are in the sectors: automotive, motorbike, electronic, mechanic and generic parts for different other additional sectors (long lasting and adopted to consumer expectations). The company has n. 12 diecasting’s systems completely automated, power and capacities ranging from 250 to over 2350 tons, equipped with robots for internal movements, n. 4 furnaces of average capacity kg. 5000 and n. 12 holding furnaces. All the production activity is supported by: Quality system services, Technical Offices with the research and study team, Finishing department and Mechanical working.
The quality standards are guaranteed by certification ISO 9001/2008 and ISO TS 16949

The R&D can support the clients developing the products as well as studying and designing extremely innovative tools and machines.

The system “Control of Product and Process” is supported by a laboratory provided with: dimensional 3D machine Zeiss, quantometer to carry out analysis of the alloys, X-Ray automatic equipment supported by an IT system for data storage, Tensile strength test machine, Gauges, Equipment for Millipore contamination test and Oven for blistering test.
